Support
FH Match Centre is a small project in its beta, built with the umpires using it. If something's wrong or missing, telling us is genuinely useful.
Report a problem
Problems are tracked in the open on GitHub, so you can see what's already known and follow a fix. You need a free GitHub account to post one, and the form asks for:
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- Which app: the watch app or the phone app (or both).
- Your watch and phone, and which version of Wear OS, watchOS, Android or iOS they run.
- The app's version, from Settings at the bottom of the phone app.
- When it happened, roughly: if it was during a match, that helps match it to the log.
Please don't put anything private in an issue: it's public. Leave out players' names, and send a match file only if you're asked for one.
Is it just you?
The status page checks the website and the API as you look at it, and lists anything that's going on or planned. Worth a glance before anything else: if something there is down, it's us, and you don't need to report it.
Something not working?
The troubleshooting page covers the usual ones: the watch and phone not finding each other, a match that hasn't arrived on the phone, the side button doing nothing, and the clock or vibrations stopping while your wrist is down.
How to use it
There's a page for each app — Wear OS, Apple Watch, the phone app and the website — plus getting started, red cards and workouts.
Ask for something, or join the test
Ideas from umpires are how most of this got built. The form asks what you'd like and what it would let you do on the pitch, which is the part that decides whether and how it gets built.
To join the beta instead, the form on the front page asks for what's needed.
What's being worked on now, and what's next, is on the project board.
Deleting your account, or your data
Your account
Sign in on the website, open Your account, and use Delete account. It reaches us straight away and an admin removes it; you'll get an email when it's done. If you can't sign in, email us from the address the account uses and we'll do the same.
Your data, without closing the account
- Matches on your phone or watch: delete them in the app. They were never anywhere else unless you uploaded them.
- A match you uploaded: unpublish it on the website or in the phone app and it stops being public at once. To have the copy itself removed, email us the teams and the date, or its link. Deleted matches are purged after 30 days.
- Notifications: turning them off in the phone app's settings removes the token we hold for your device.
- Workouts: they never leave your devices, so there's nothing here to delete. Remove them in Health Connect or the Health app.
One thing we keep: a published match stays on the website as the record of that game, with its umpire shown as a deleted user. Ask and we'll remove those too.
Your matches and your data
Matches stay on your watch and your phone until you upload one. You can delete any match from the phone app, and if you have an account, asking for it to be deleted is on your account page on the website.
